How to buy cheap airline tickets to Paris

Do you ever wonder if you can buy cheap airline tickets to the most romantic city on Earth – Paris? The answer is yes but you should clear a few things if you like to go there on a cheaper airfare.

Plan in advance

When going to Paris, you must plan well in advance and make your travel schedule flexible as much as you can. There are many airlines that put their tickets up for sale for advance bookings. Some even have sale tickets to Paris 3 months in advance. These tickets are proven to be cheaper. So plan as early as possible to get the best deal available.

Travel during off-season

Tickets to Paris are at its lowest during the off-season. This off-season would include the middle of January to the end of March and the start of November to early December. Also, try to fly during weekdays because weekend flights are usually more expensive. This is because weekend flights are more or less always full in contrast to weekday flights. So in the carrier’s attempt to fill the seats and carry as many passengers in one trip, they often offer cheaper tickets. Avoid flying during school holidays or any popular dates and events like Christmas. Expect Paris flights to be jam packed and expensive during the holidays.

Fly from major cities

Flying from major airports like New York can also give you cheaper and better rates to Paris. This is because there are numerous flights and carriers flying in these airports, making competition fierce. Tight competitions always results to better deals and cheaper prices.
Check as many airlines as you can

There are a lot of budget airlines offering budget airfares to Paris. You can also get a good deal from them even if you are in such a hurry. Budget airlines always have lower airfares compared to regular carriers. Aside from airlines sites, you can also visit travel sites. Travel sites usually list airfares of virtually all the airlines together with their best airfare deals. Finding a cheap airfare to Paris should be easy with the use of these sites.

These are just some of the few tips on how to buy cheap airline tickets to Paris. So what are you waiting for?! Plan your dream Paris vacation now and start hunting for the best airfare deals!

How to get good French pronounciation

In learning the French language, word pronunciation is perhaps the most difficult part. You may want to work real hard on how to pronounce French words correctly. Bear in mind that each and every language is unique in its own way. Even if French language uses letters of the English alphabet, these English letters have a different and distinct pronunciation in the French world.

PREPARE. Try to set aside your mother tongue’s accent and be prepared to make some adjustments. If you find it difficult, don’t worry and don’t be disheartened. You can’t do this with just a snap of a finger, so make it gradual. Adapt to the French accent little by little.

LISTEN. To get a good grasp on how French words are spoken, you must listen carefully. Listening is your key. Listen and pay attention on how the words are pronounced. Then, listen and repeat. Repeat the words properly the way they are mentioned. You can do this until you get attuned to the French sound — like it is the only accent you know and nothing else. You can begin by listening to French audio CDs or tapes, movies and TV programs. Like music, you need to be able to dance to its rhythm and learn it by heart.

PRACTICE. There’s nothing comparable to practice when it comes to mastery, and language is not an exemption. Try to speak French as much as you can. When you’re shopping for instance, try to say what’s on your list in French, count your tuna cans in French or imagine that you are in France and no one speaks English. You can also try to find a native French speaker to practice with and talk to. There are a lot of people seeking language exchange partners. If you cannot find a French language exchange partner, hiring a French tutor is your next alternative. But the good thing is that you can always check with your tutor how you’re doing with French pronunciation.

To acquire good French pronunciation you should listen very carefully on how words are pronounced and practice. Prepare, listen and practice! And then what follows is more practice… French words are very complicated, so doing your best to correctly pronounce words at the earliest stage of learning can greatly help you become a good French speaker.
