“The streets of Paris never sleep. Just look at this shot that was taken at night. The neon lights are ever so burning. The billboards, street lamps, and store signs are all lighted up. There are simply too many colors around that you won’t be able to say that the night is deep and quiet. The shot is taken right in front of the entrance to the Pigalle underground subway. It is closed so it must have been really late at night.”
